みなさん、こんにちは！先週はあき休みでしたから、ミシガン市に帰りました。とてもいそがしかったですが、たくさんゆっくりできました。アルバイトをしたり、かぞくと友達と会ったりしました。父とトリビアをしに行きました。とても楽しかったです。それから、アルバイトはいそがしかったですがバイトが大好きです。また、たくさん新しいふくを買いました。それから、母と「オブセシオン」と「ハウスメイド」というえいがを見ました。ちょっとこわかったですが、よかったです。それから、友達とりんごえんに行きました。私たち子どもの時によくに行きました。とても楽しかったですが、さむくなていますから、たくさんりんごがあらないんです。その日の天気はとてもきれいでした。私のあき休みはよかったです。
みなさん、こんにちは！Recently, I watched a documentary on Netflix about Japan's journey in this years' World Baseball Classic. 子どもの時にやきゅうが大好きをはじめます。My Dad has always been a big Chicago Cubs fan and so I adopted that as I grew up, especially when the Cubs won the World Series in 2016. 私のおじさんはアリゾナのスコッツデールに住んでいますから、私は子どもの時年に一回MLB スプリングトレイニングに行きました。
でも、十四才の時にシアトルで大谷翔平を見ました。今、私の好きなやきゅうせんしゅは大谷さんです。I was visiting family in Seattle and we went and saw the Mariners play the Angels. I hadn't really been paying attention to the MLB at that point but Ohtani was gaining a lot of fame. 高校の前に夏休みです。それから、高校の時に日本語を勉強し始めました。I didn't know at that point that baseball was that popular in Japan, but now there's so many Japanese players in the MLB and I think that's really cool. Ohtani plays such a big role as captain for Samurai Japan, you could tell in the documentary when he arrived in Osaka to start preparing for the WBC how the younger players truly admired and looked up to him. I thought it was also interesting how Ohtani is so close with Seiya Suzuki, who plays for the Chicago Cubs. They're the same age and have a close both through baseball, they've represented team Japan internationally multiple times so it was cool to see how they interact and their playful banter off of the field. In Miami, Suzuki injured his knee while sliding into second base, you can tell even though they aren't regularly teammates Ohtani takes on a role that is showing concern for Suzuki while also leading the rest of the team through the game. That part of being an athlete is not usually shown so seeing that part of the struggle during this WBC really added to the documentary.
In 2023 Japan won the World Baseball classic and although this documentary is from this year it was really fun to see the preparation that it take since there are so many different players coming together since this series is only played once every four years. A lot of them come from various MLB teams so seeing them come together is fun as well. Even though Japan won the Championship in 2023, they lost to Venezuela in the quarterfinals who then went on and won the championship.
The documentary was fully in Japanese so I enjoyed the listening practice and tried not to rely on the subtitles too much. I think watching the players and staff interacting with one another was also helpful for casual speech and how certain words and expressions are used. I highly recommend this documentary especially if you like baseball I found it to be super entertaining and it was a very good watch!
今、セイントメーリス大学の二年生で、せんこは会計学です。ここで四年しだ後で そつぎょうして、ノートルダム大学院で大学いんそつをもらいます。でも、ノートルダムに行く前にCPAのしけんを受けます。とてもむずかしですから、たくさん勉強しておきます。そつぎょうする前に友達とたくさん楽し経験します。いいせいせきがあります。
私のしゅっしんはインディアナのミシガンシティです。ノートルダムから四十五分ぐらいです。レクミシガンにあります。とてもきれいな所です。とても大きいですから、海のように見えます。すばらし日の入りを見ることができます。でも、前に、サンスクリーンをぬっておきます！ビーチの日はとても楽しいです！
にも、ミシガンシティでたくさんゴルフコルスがあります。子どもの時、父がゴルフをし方を教えてくれました。とても楽しいと思います！
ミシガンシティにシカゴから近くにあります。シカゴは行くことがかんたんです。よく、スポーツとコンサートに行きます。
先週末、「火垂るの墓」というえいがを見ました。とてもいいと思いましたです！大好きでけど、とても悲しかったです。It has been a while since I've been able to actually sit down and enjoy a movie so this film definitely made it worth it. It follows a teen named Seita who is left to look after his younger sister, Setsuko after being separated from their mother and tensions rise with the Aunt they are sent to live with. The film was taking place in Kobe, Japan during the later months of World War II. Seita and Setsuko only had each other to rely on for survival. Seita does his best to keep Setsuko healthy and happy but illness and hunger make them both weak as it becomes more and more difficult to survive. With how heartbreaking this movie is, it is even more devastating to think about how this based off of true historic events and not just a piece of total fiction. I highly recommend this movie, the emotional aspect and the quality of the film is worth giving it a watch. Just make sure you have some tissues handy.
